Hi, I’m Lilac - I’ve decided to come out of my shell so my foster mom can get to know more about me! I was scared at first because I was used to living outside so I didn’t understand that a comfy & warm house meant safety. I’m proud to say that I mastered stairs in a couple of days (my foster dad is glad he doesn’t have to carry me anymore) and by the end of the week, I was dancing with my foster Mom to country music, while smiling the whole time! Now I love to prance (it’s adorable) around the backyard while enjoying the sunshine. I’ve been enjoying getting to know my foster dog brothers & sisters. I like them but I can get jealous of them sometimes. I love to explore the house and to get to know my new (temporary) digs. I can be timid at first but I promise I’ll come out of my shell as soon as I know I’m safe. I am looking for a family that will be happy to teach me what being a dog is really like & let me experience a lot of new firsts. I am working on crate & potty training and I sleep through the night. I’m a pretty small girl - weighing around 45lbs. I hope to meet my forever family soon, so we can start going on all kinds of adventures! Xoxo Lilac
