As an animal rescue, we do not have a history on most of the animals up for adoption since we rescue them and they are usually labeled as strays. We can only tell you their behavior since they have been with us. We do not know the specific breeds of each dog and we can not guarantee their age. Once again, because they are rescued we have to guess as to what they MAY be a mix of and what age they most likely are.
Requirements
Completing an application is the first step towards bringing your new best friend home. Potential adopters will be subject to a phone or face to face interview, a home visit, and reference checks, including veterinary. All family members, including canine, living in the home must meet the dog/cat prior to adoption.
We do not adopt on a first come, first serve basis but try to match the best home for each animal. We reserve the right to deny a potential home if we feel it is not in the best interest of the animal and does not necessarily reflect our feelings about you as a pet owner.
- Complete an application for adoption
- Complete a phone or face to face interview with Adoption Coordinator
- Personal Reference Checks
- Veterinarian Reference Check (if dogs/cats are currently in household)
- Meet and greet with all members of the household. If dog(s) are in the household, dog(s) must also be present.
- Home Visit
- Adoption Contract Completed and Adoption Fee is collected
- Love your new furry friend!
Pricing
- Puppies and dogs under 2 years of age are $325 with an additional $50 refundable spay/neuter deposit if puppy is too young to be altered at time of adoption
- Dogs 2 years of age to 5 years of age $285
- Dogs 6 and over $195
- Kittens and cats under 2 year of age $125 with an additional $50 refundable spay/neuter deposit if kitten is too young to be altered at the time of adoption
- Cats 2 and over $95.00
- Cash or check are the preferred methods of payment. Payment via credit card must be requested 5 days prior to finalizing the contract. This will be via a paypal invoice and will carry an additional service charge to cover the fees charged by paypal and the credit card company.
