Hi! I'm Frank.  I am spoiled and loved and big and fluffy.  All the best things!  But, my life was not always like that.  My previous family kept me in a cage for 6 years.. I had to go potty in there too - it was TERRIBLE - so now I hate being in a crate... But don't worry - I stay out of mischief.  I was really skinny and lonely my whole life...  My only friend was a mosquito - but he turned on me too and bit me (how rude)!  So I developed heartworm.

The nice volunteers at the rescue and vet's office are treating me for heartworm and say I am healthy enough to be adopted by a family who wants to help me through my 2nd injection in mid October (paid for by the rescue).  The only requirement is I need to stay calm (I'm 8 so that's not too hard) and be on Heartguard.  Pretty simple, huh?  The rescue's medical director will give you a call if you are seriously interested in adopting me.  You can apply to rescue me at http://www.hoofwoofmeow.org/adoption/adoption-application/.  I'm super cheap at only $175.  Can't wait to meet you!!
