Layla is a sweet and cuddly 2-3 year old yellow female. She was found as a stray in Missouri. She has had as least one litter of puppies. She is housebroken, knows how to sit and give paw. She loves to chew on antlers, bully sticks and horns. She is learning to play with squeaky toys. She gets super excited to go on walks and car rides. She sits nicely in the back seat. She loves to be around people. Layla is good with other dogs, however, in her foster home, they found her to bond quickly to humans and can tend to guard her favorite human from other dominant dogs. For this reason, we are requiring her to be the only dog in her forever home. She loves to cuddle on the couch and give lots of kisses. She is very food motivated and learns quickly. Overall Layla is very calm for a young lab. She does not need to be crated. She sleeps in her dog bed next to her foster dad at night. Layla is heart worm positive and will need to still go through with her treatment beginning in February. The rescue will cover her treatment for the adoptive family. To read about our adoption process or to fill out an application to meet her (required) please visit our website at http://www.hoofwoofmeow.org. ***Please note applicants must have no other dogs and kids 5+.
