Rocco is a mellow 5yo rescue mix. He loves going for walks (is great on a leash and ignores other dogs), sleeps overnight in a crate and will stand by the door when he needs to go potty. He is an overall great dog!! His prior owners did not give Rocco heartworm prevention, so unfortunately he tested positive. He has started on medication and will need a series of 2 injections and then we will retest him 6 months from then. The rescue will cover the costs (under the direction of our medical director and vet) to a local family who adopts him. Interested parties MUST complete an adoption application to start the adoption process.
