Salem is a great big gentle teddy bear of a cat.  He was rescued from a condemned house and is so happy to be with people again.   Salem loves attention and will sit on your lap as long as you let him and will talk to you to get you to pet him.  He is purrfectly fine with with dogs and was great with the other cats he came in with but may need a slow intro to new cats.  He has not been around kids but we suspect he will do just fine with them due to his calm, laid back and ever so friendly demeanor.  Salem is 6 yes old and about 11 lbs.  Go to www.hoofwoofmeow.org for a chance to adopt him!
