Koda is the total package - sweet, playful, funny and cuddly!  She is about 20-25lbs and is 3.5 months old (her mom is 43lbs).  She loves spending her days sitting outside, running around, playing with toys, and going for walks.  She will make the perfect companion for an active person/family.  She is crate trained and will often go in her crate to take naps - so she is hopeful her forever family will buy her a crate as her safe space!

Koda is in the progress of potty training, so a family who is home throughout the day and has time to continue her training is ideal.  She is a bit timid of other dogs but wouldn't mind having a respectful doggy companion in her forever home. She does enjoy playing with adults and kids alike!  She is a smart cookie - she has already learned 'sit' and 'off' and would love to continue her obedience training with her new family!!  Tentative Take Home Date: 09/25-09/27.

We encourage all parties interested to google Huskies and research the breed prior to applying for adoption.  Huskies are GORGEOUS dogs, but can prove to be difficult for first time dog owners.  They are energetic, athletic, intelligent, love to run/exercise, typically have a high prey drive & shed A LOT.  If not given proper outlets and stimulations they will often find ways to escape and take an adventure of their own.

We are looking for an active adopter/family who has knowledge of the breed. We will not be considering first time dog owners, or applicants who live in a condo or apartment.
