Elivra ain't nothin but a hound dog ;) .  Elvira, aka Elle, is part of our Halloween Hound litter who came to rescue from the south.  She is a 20lbs, 4 month old puppy with the personality of a young adult - well mannered, walks well on a leash (she can get chatty when other dogs walk by), loves to take naps, sleeps in her crate overnight (8-9hrs) without any accidents or protests, and is receptive to redirection. She would do okay with dog savvy cats.

She knows sit and is almost potty trained.  As long as you take her out on a schedule she does not have any accidents.  She does great with other dogs of all sizes, genders and ages and knows when to stop being the "annoying little sister" to the senior dogs.  Elvira does great in her crate overnight, but much rather prefers to be with humans during the day so it takes her a short time to settle in to her crate time during the day. She quietly naps and entertains herself in the home office while her foster mom works.

Elvira is great in the car, loves to play tug of war and chase balls, and takes food gently.  She is a little skittish of new situations so a home without a lot of chaos & another companion dog would be ideal.  She is gentle with younger children, but if they are not used to a 'puppy' she may be overwhelming.
