Beckett is a happy-go-lucky guy. It took a few days for him to trust his foster family but after that he couldn't get enough! He loves other dogs and would enjoy a playful companion or two. He is great on car rides and loves to go for walks and spend time outdoors. He has discovered toys and loves to play with all different kinds. He hasn't fully mastered identifying human toys vs dog toys so if your home has human toys all over he may not be the best fit. Beckett is a young, energetic guy so daily exercise is a must. He walks well on a leash 95% of the time and wouldn't mind a running partner! He came from an overpopulated kill shelter so he is still working on house manners and basic obedience. A family willing to continue that is on his checklist! :) He sleeps in a crate overnight and often chooses to nap in it. However, he is not a fan of his crate when his humans leave, so a family home often and willing to work with him on crate training when they do leave is essential. If you have time to provide structured training, daily exercise, endless belly rubs and have a house full of toys Beckett would love to meet you!!
