Training adopter needs to work on: Still working on learning basic commands and leash training. Currently utilizing the bell system for potty training and loves treats when learning new tricks! 

Riv is as sweet as they come! He is an all around happy guy who wants to always be within a few feet of his person. He loves to meet new people and happily accepts any and all petting! Riv is really good at self entertaining but would love someone who enjoys playing fetch and tug toys with him. He will smother you with puppy kisses and cuddle on the couch any chance he gets. His favorite daily activity is a short walk followed by ample time outside sun bathing. Lounging and rolling around in the grass is his favorite!  Riv is low to medium energy for his age and loves to hang out. He is still learning what is acceptable to chew on and is a bit of a shoe thief! He would do best with a person or family that is home a lot or be willing to take him with them often as he doesn’t like being left alone for very long. He enjoys car rides and adventuring to new places and would love someone to keep up his training as he loves learning new things.

Riv will be available for adoption after his wellness visit on June 11th.  Please be sure you are available close to that date before applying and that all family members are on board.
