Calling all beagle lovers! Bette is a sweet, easy-going, older gal (est. 7yo). She’s great in her crate, but in true beagle fashion, she loves spending lots of time exploring the smells of nature in the yard and on her walks. Bette is a calm girl who loves a good lap and would make a great companion for someone looking for an older low-key dog. 
Background: Bette was picked up by one of our Alabama rescue partners after she’d been wandering the same road living on trash for a week. Her belly got so bloated from eating garbage, we originally thought she was pregnant! Fortunately, she is not and after some high quality food and TLC she’s doing much better.  (No apartment / condo living for Bette -sorry!)

Bette’s adoption fee is $175. She is scheduled for her spay on 6/25 and can go home 6/27 as long as she’s healing well.
