Madeline is a dream girl looking for her happily ever after! She was pregnant and heartworm positive when she was rescued from a horrendous hoarding case in May. She gave birth to her sweet babies in June and was the best mama dog raising her puppies all summer. Once her puppies found their homes, Madeline had to go through heartworm treatment. Although it was very painful for her, she is now recovering and looking for a home that will show her that she will have a bright future. Madeline loves to go for walks, is good in a crate, sleeps on the floor in her foster's bedroom at night, is housebroken and loves to be loved on. She would do best in a home with a fenced yard, a companion dog and no children under 10 years old.

 

Madeline cannot be spayed until she is medically cleared for surgery (due to heartworm), so we are looking for a local adopter who can take her to one of our contracted veterinarians for surgery once cleared (Spring 2022).
