Chevelle wants to be your next best pal! This sweetie is a 2-year old, 38lb possible Australian Shepherd mix that loves to hangout with her foster family and watch the world go by through the window. Chevelle is a lower energy dog, so she will be well suited for a family that lives an easy going lifestyle. She does not enjoy car rides, but is getting used to the leash. 

Chevelle just went through treatment for heartworm & will need to get a check in 6 months to make sure that it's all gone & then she will be able to be spayed once negative. (The rescue covers costs associated with her heartworm treatment & spay.) Chevelle is dog friendly (big & small), and not yet tested with cats. She is housebroken, and enjoys sleeping in her dog beds. She was once a scared mamma and is now a quiet and lovable pup ready to find her family!
