This golden girl is as sweet as they come. Her previous owner dumped her on the road in Missouri and just drove off leaving her behind. She has forgiven and moved on and is now living her best life. In typical lab fashion, she loves food, treats, bully sticks and cuddling on the couch. In typical Pyrenees fashion, she loves to lay outside and enjoy the smells, sounds, and watching for squirrels for hours, no matter what the weather. She will also paw you to death to get you to pet her. She loves going for car rides and walks. She will let you know with a big vocal “Whoo Whoo” if you are late with her breakfast or dinner. Most of the time she is a big couch potato. She will need a home with no stairs (one or two steps is fine) to get outside. She fears stairs and will not go up or down them. She currently lives with four other dogs and the fosters that come and go. She has done fine with all who cross her path.

Because she is a senior (apx 8 - 10 y/o) girl she does come with some conditions. She does have severe arthritis that may be the result of a former trauma in her life. We just don’t know her history. She is on a few different medications to help with pain management and inflammation. We think we have found the right mix that is working well for her now, but she will need to be on them for life and may have to be adjusted as she gets older.

Ella hopes to find family that can be home with her, but if not, she is fine in the house alone. At this stage in her life, she deserves to be loved and spoiled! If you are looking for that perfect senior companion, she is your girl.
