Tanya is a 3 year old German Shorthaired Pointer/Pitbull mix. She enjoys sleeping in and cannot get close enough to her humans. She came to us after being thrown out of a moving vehicle and a good Samaritan came to her rescue. This girl deserves love and affection from a forever family! 

*Tanya is heartworm positive so a local adopter is required in order for her to receive her heartworm treatment. This is covered at our expense. She will also be spayed after her treatment.

Tanya has never met a stranger. Delivery people, service people in her foster's house, the vet, random people out on walks - they are all friends of Tanya's. She enthusiastically greets everyone. She is 100% house trained and has never had an accident in the house. She is so eager to please and responds well to correction. She's learning house manners very quickly. She's extremely treat motivated. Tanya is non-destructive in the home. Tanya co-exists very nicely with her foster family's dog but her first love is her people.  She can live with other dogs but is not particularly playful with them and she requires approximately 24 hours to adjust to new dogs.
