Meet Patton! Patton is a 1 year old golden retriever mix who is just the sweetest and happiest boy! He loves playing with his toys and being outside. While Patton loves to run and be outside, he is very calm and low energy inside the house. An active family or a home with a fenced-in yard would be ideal. 

Patton especially loves his humans! His foster mom loves when Patton snuggles with her. He does get anxious when his foster family leaves.

When going on walks, Patton is very calm and does well on a leash.

He is a little hesitant with new people but warms up quickly.  Patton gets scared of loud noises and sudden movements, therefore, a home with a lot of activity would not be ideal. Patton is also working on not darting out of doors and cars, so he would do well with an experienced dog owner who will spend the time working on this with him. Crate training is still a work in progress due to his anxiety & will he need a patient owner to help him with further training in this area.

Patton is potty-trained and gets along well with other dogs and low energy children. 

He cannot wait to find his forever home!
