Othello is a 2 year old, 59 lb pitbull / bulldog mix who was picked up as a stray and lived in a shelter for about a year.  Our team took one look at him and could not pass up giving this smiling guy a chance at life outside of the shelter with a family. He is forever thanking his foster mom with "hugs" (which is why we recommend kids 7+). He loves being near his humans and gets very excited for TOYS! He is housebroken and crate trained.   Othello pretty much loves everyone he meets, dogs and humans alike! He has not yet met cats. He does well on car rides and is great on his leash walking skills. He is one amazing Lovable guy. Could Othello be that special hunk of Love you've been waiting for.

Othello’s forever home should have a fenced in yard (4 ft +) for him to run and enjoy life. 

**Othello is heartworm positive but has now completed his treatments that was covered through the rescue. He will need a new heartworm test in November to be sure he is free and clear from heartworms. The rescue will cover any heartworm related treatments until he gets that negative test.
