Hello world ! 

 

I am Shelby!  I am 1.5 year old 10 pound papillon mix with a beautiful white/ black mix fur coat. I was taken in when I was a stray and ever since I have been adapting to family life with my fosters. My foster family named me Shelby, as in the Ford Shelby GT. This is in reference to my speed. I am one quick pup with super energy. 

 

Here are a few things I’d love for you to know about me 

 

• I am crate trained.

• I enjoy walks and do very well on a leash 

• I am doing very good with potty training, but occasionally have accidents . I am working on it 

• I co-habitate well with other animals and I love playing with other dogs 

• Speaking of playing , I love kids ! I love running around with kids that have the same energy as I do 

• Favorite place I love to relax at are by windows , I am a big people watcher

• I am a good guard dog I will bark to announce if anyone enters our home.

• I do very well in car rides too!

• I love sweet potatoes ! My current foster mom says I have a sensitive tummy so I need to watch what I eat , but always interested in trying new things. But please don’t be mad if it upsets my tummy.

Shelby's adoption fee is $400 - which includes core vaccinations (age appropriate), microchip & spay/neuter at one of our contracted vets (if applicable)
