Crockett (fka Tipton) is a gentle, one and a half year old, 35 lb, Lab mix who is looking for his forever home.

He is crate trained and house broken.  Crockett is quickly learning his basic commands such as "Sit" and "come".  He is also working on his leash manners. 

Crockett LOVES being outside in the yard and playing as well as getting lots of pets.  He is very selective about his canine friends, so a home with no other dogs, or a dog that is his size would be the best fit for him. He will require a slow introduction.  Tipton does love all people. 

Crockett's forever family should be committed to helping him master his basic commands and should be ready for unlimited kisses and snuggles!

Crockett recently completed his heartworm treatment.  His forever family will need to take him for a test in the next few months, to make sure it's gone. He will also be neutered after treatment (rescue covers costs for both, at one of our contracted vets) You will be able to speak to our medical staff prior to adoption.
