Are you looking for a sweet companion who will just chill with you day and night and will be happiest just doing whatever you’re doing? This is Daisy Mae! She is an approximately 1.5 year old, 66lb Shepherd Mix (We do not DNA Test)  She is a gentle, sweet soul who is happy simply just being wherever you are and doing whatever you’re doing. She is crate-trained, leash-trained, and housebroken so she is very easy to manage. She loves to go on walks and you can set the pace – she will follow your lead. She loves to be outside but she doesn’t need a lot of space because she’s happy just watching the world go by. She really is just content to lounge around and do her own thing, but is happiest when her people are close by. She is perfectly fine around other dogs and isn’t really too concerned with them – she prefers humans! She has also been sweet and gentle with her 3 year old human foster brother,  so she seems to be good with young kids. She can be a little shy when meeting new people but it doesn’t take long for her to feel at ease – she was comfortable with her foster family after only one day. She loves car rides and chew treats. She has one blue eye and one brown eye, which makes her even more special!  Daisy was previously treated for heartworm in the south, and will be due for a follow up test in March (rescue expense). All potential adopters will speak to a member of our medical team prior to adoption to answer any questions about this.  

Daisy Mae’s adoption fee is $400 (includes age appropriate vaccines and microchip)
