Welcome this dapper guy, Nick!

Nick is an approximately 11-month-old , 63 lb., German Shepherd.

A few must haves for Nick’s forever home:

~Exercise

~A large, fenced in yard that will allow him adequate time to run and chase his ball.

~Large breed dog experience (Breed experience is a plus)

~Exercise

~A commitment to work on training and socialization, as this guy is super smart and needs a job to do!

~Did we mention exercise?

This guy is the definition of energy, both breed and puppy!  He is a happy guy with a great personality.  He does great with his foster dog siblings, likes the car and is good on his leash.  He has not been exposed to cats or kids.  We suspect that he will be good around older kids who understand respecting animals.

Nick has never lived in a home before, so he is getting used to some of the things that entails, the biggest of  which is the crate.  At this time, he is not the biggest fan.  His foster mom has been working with him on this.  Nick can sometimes want to guard his foster mom as well, but has not shown any signs of aggression at all.  Even though he’s a big boy, he is only a puppy who has been displaced and is learning how to behave in a family environment.  He would thrive with an adopter who is familiar with the German Shepherd breed as a whole,  and wants to train with him, and give him a job to do, so that he can grow up into a handsome, well mannered gentleman!

Nick’s adoption fee is $400 (Includes microchip and age appropriate vaccines)
