Meet Greta, an approximate 5 month old, yorkie mix. She came to us from Alabama and learned how special life was when loved by her foster parents. She likes best to lay beside her humans and to cuddle for naps. Her eyes are always following her foster family, as she is inquisitive and eager to play. She went from not leaving her crate, to excitedly anticipating exiting her crate in the morning. She is as smart as can be. She learned how to use the outside, to go to the bathroom, in five days. She is a delightful tall drink of water with long legs, even though she is a small 10 pounds. Greta plays with her plush stuffed pizza and her other toys. She still has some puppy in her and needs to be watched carefully for chewing furniture, shoes and other items. She responds best to staying on a regular feeding, exercise and go-outside routine. Her energy is mid-range and has progressed beautifully with leash walking. She has a serious jump, probably due to those long legs. Greta will do best in a home that has a fenced back yard and in a quiet environment. She thrives well in a calm and quiet home. She has not been around children or cats and is curious about her foster’s resident dogs; one small and one big. This little girl, with an underbite, will steal anyone’s heart. Everyone who meets her adores her sweet and loving spirit.

Greta’s  adoption fee is $400.00  (Includes microchip, age appropriate vaccines and spay at one of our contracted vets)
