This sweet little man is Rome.  Rome is an approximate 5 year old, 12 lb, Chihuahua / terrier mix.  (We do not DNA test).  This little guy came to HWM from a hoarding situation out of Georgia.  He is very happy to be in his foster home and is enjoying the good life.  

Rome is friendly with other dogs and loves people.  He has not yet been introduced to cats or kids, but we suspect that he will be fine with kids who understand dogs.  Rome is potty trained but needs to be on a regular schedule every few hours.  He is crate trained and will sleep in his crate at night.  He also does eat his meals there in his foster home, otherwise he tries to help himself to everyone else’s food!  Rome would much rather be snuggling in a blanket or playing with his toys indoors during this cold weather.  He is not a fan of the Chicagoland winters!  His foster parents say he is a little couch potato who has a calm and quiet demeanor. 

Rome’s adoption fee is $350.00 and includes his completed wellness visit, age appropriate vaccines and heartworm test (negative).
