Geneva is smaller size dog although she is a solid 28lbs. While she looks like a black and white dog, she does have some brown "highlights" in her coat. She lived in a rural pound for the majority of her life with her sister Galena.  Despite not growing up in a home, she has adjusted to her foster home quickly.  She prefers to sleep in a bed with you instead of a crate (no surprise there, considering).  She is shy when meeting people but give her time and she will follow you everywhere.  Geneva does well with other dogs and is learning to live with cats.  Geneva will need a lot of socialization. While there are not any problems, knowing that she lived at least 7 months in a pound when she is only 8 months old, she has not experienced much. Her new family will need to help her with that.  Geneva is not aggressive, rather, she is timid but wants to trust you.  So give her that time, show her love, provide her with new experiences and praise her successes.  Oh and let her cuddle next to you ar night so she knows she's safe and loved.  The family who can offer her all of that is the family for Geneva.
