Meet Gizmo, a sweet little boy hoping the new year will bring him a new home! Gizmo has a typical rat terrier personality... a bit standoffish to strangers at first but loyal and loving to his people once he gets to know you! At first he prefers to get to know you slowly, and for that reason he would probably be happiest in a home without small children. He is a smart cookie, eager to learn and knows basic commands like sit, down, and shake. He sits politely and gives five before his meals. Gizmo is fully housebroken, crate  trained , and walks on a leash. Giz also gets along with other dogs and cats and would love to have a four legged sibling, but would also be fine as an only dog. He is just 13lbs and is happiest in your arms, giving you kisses.
