Adoption Fee: $ 350 plus $50 refundable spay/neuter fee (fee includes neuter at one of our contracted vets)

Possible Breed: Possible Border Collie/Lab/Mystery Mix??

Potty trained: No, but working on it.  Knows he should go outside and if taken out regularly has few accidents

Crate Trained: Sleeps in his crate but will whimper when put in.

Dog friendly: Yes, fostered with resident 40 lb dog

Cat friendly: Visited with a friend’s cat briefly, showed no interest in it

Kid friendly: Has not been around small children but he should be fine.  He’s very gentle and shows no aggression.  Puppy bites but not excessively.

Apartment/condo appropriate? Yes, energy level would work for apartment/condo but Fin loves to be outdoors and explore.

Appropriate for 1st time dog owners?: Yes

Current Energy level: Low to Medium

Require a fence?: We do not have a fence and he does not run away when outside playing.  He’s watched at all times while outdoors.

Training adopter needs to work on: All basic dogs training such as potty training, crate training, leash training, etc.

 

Fin is an affectionate dog who enjoys spending time with his foster family.  He’s lower energy than his sister, Ari, and more likely to stay close to his foster family while outside.  After exploring outside for a while he is content to lay in the sun by his people. He loves to give kisses and is working on leash training. He would be a great addition to any family.

 

Fin will be ready to go to his forever home after her wellness vet appointment on June 11th. Please be sure you are available during that time frame & that all family members are on board, before applying.  Thank you!
